PROLOGUE TO RIPPLE RIPPLE RIPPLING

Driving the Human Festival
Radialsystem, Berlin, Germany
15-17, October 2021
The Driving the Human Festival marked the beginning of a new phase in the Ripple Ripple Rippling project, taking it in a more transdisciplinary direction—expanding from architecture into anthropology, performance, and filmmaking.

The exhibition features a walk-around screen presenting the short documentary film Prologue to Ripple Ripple Rippling, which invites visitors to share a moment with villagers in China at the projected space. It is shown alongside a sculptural installation titled Dinner Set, composed of fragmented stools and chairs—an image of thought that reflects the dissolved household in rural China and their interdependent way of life.

Over the course of the three-day festival in Berlin, we hosted several public tours and a livestreamed session titled Planetary Movements, moderated by Vera Sacchetti.
